United Way for Greater Austin is pleased to be partnering with the philanthropic community in Central Texas to promote get-out-the-count efforts for the 2020 Census. Our efforts focus in providing grants totaling $395,000 to community-based organizations and Complete Count Committees to ensure hard-to-count communities in the counties of Bastrop, Caldwell, Hays, Travis, and Williamson participate in the census.

Texas has one of the largest risks of an undercount, due to a large number of hard-to-count populations, such as young children, immigrants, rural residents, and people experiencing homelessness. These grants will help us ensure all of us are counted.
