Prep for the “Big Game” Superbowl Party

10:00 AM-12:30 PM

United Way for Greater Austin

This is a joint middle school Volunteer Project Leaders and Young Leaders Society volunteer opportunity!

Students from Webb, Mendez and Decker Middle Schools and YLS members will work together to make games and other decorations for the YLS Super Bowl watching party: The Big Game. Exact details on what we’ll be making are still being finalized, but some options eing throw around (football pun intended) are coasters, giant Jenga, short videos and more! Basically, come with your creative hat on and be ready to have fun!

Can’t make this project but still want to come to The Big Game, you can get tickets here: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/the-big-game-super-bowl-xlix-tickets-13557108677

MLK Day of Service will include a kick-off breakfast at J.J. Seabrook  Greenbelt(2000 Pershing St., 78723) at 9 am.  Volunteer projects begin at 10 am.

The Big Game – Super Bowl XLIX Watch Party

4:00 PM to 9:00 PM

Fado Irish Pub

Why would you watch the Super Bowl from your couch when you could:

  1. Support an amazing cause while you drink beer.
  2. Drink and eat for the cost of your ticket! And…
  3. Hang out with other awesome people.

You can expect…FOOD (because it’s essential), BEER (and other alcohol naturally), PRIZES, and a WARM FUZZY FEELING (that’s not just the beer, it’s knowing you helped at-risk middle school students stay on the path towards graduation).
