Since 1996, United Way for Greater Austin has helped residents navigate the complex system of health and human services in Central Texas by maintaining our Navigation Center. The service provides simple, one-call access to our call specialists, who can connect you to more than 30,000 nonprofit and government resources in the 10 counties we serve.

Community Needs & Trends

United Way produces an annual Community Needs and Trends report (CNT) compiled of caller data and feedback. The report illustrates the real demands for health and human services in our region, and supports future planning for Texas legislators, city planners and community stakeholders, who are better equipped to meet the needs of the community.

The Navigation Center includes partnerships with 2-1-1, a program of the Texas Health and Human Services Commission in collaboration with the United Way for Greater Austin, as well as Central Health.
