Managing Partner
ATX Defense
Shawn Kotoske is currently the Director of Internal Administration at Public Consulting Group (PCG), where he has worked in both education and healthcare management consulting for nearly 10 years. During this time Shawn has worked exclusively with state and local governments to increase the funding and efficiency of their public programs. This has led to a deep understanding of social needs and a strong affinity for UWATX’s mission focused on underserved youth.
Shawn is a decorated war veteran who served our country in the United States Army for 9 years. He was awarded the Bronze Star Medal for his service in the Iraq War where he led signals intelligence operations for the southern half of the country. He left the military with the rank of Captain. Shawn holds a B.A. in Philosophy from the University of Notre Dame, and an Ed. M. in Education Policy Management from Harvard University’s Graduate School of Education.
Shawn has served on United Way for Greater Austin’s Resource Development Committee for over a year, and most recently served on the Ruthless Good Production Team. Most notably, he is responsible for PCG coming on board as the Presenting Sponsor of Ruthless Good. He is excited for the opportunity to serve on the UWATX board.
In his free time, Shawn takes care of his backyard chicken coop and enjoys traveling to places where he can SCUBA dive.
