At United Way for Greater Austin, we believe that anyone can be a philanthropist by giving donations or giving time. That’s why we run Hands On Central Texas - one of the largest volunteer networks in Central Texas.
Individual volunteers
To get involved, individuals can sign up through the website. We will keep you updated when volunteer opportunities come up throughout the year, including our Days of Service that run in the spring and fall.
We envision a world where all individuals discover their power to make a difference and are equipped as active, engaged citizens.
Businesses
Hands On Central Texas also coordinates corporate volunteering activities as team building projects. Contact us today to learn more and find a project that’s right for your team.
Nonprofit Organizations
If your organization is a registered 501(c) (3) organization, government agency, neighborhood association, eldercare facility or public school that accepts volunteers regardless of race, ethnic origin/nationality, religious affiliation, gender, sexual orientation, age or disability, our volunteer center can assist you in recruiting volunteers to support your organization.
