Three months ahead of schedule Hands On Central Texas (United Way Capital Area)—a Gifts In Kind International affiliate—announced in September that they had reached their 2007 goal of collecting $1 million worth of products for local nonprofit organizations. The local Gifts In Kind® program was launched earlier this year in Austin, Texas.
